With the release of our fifteenth issue, we're introducing our first two newspaper boxes to the commercial centres of Lunenburg County – now you can find us in front of Pearl's Vintage & Thrift on King St. in Lunenburg, and Rascal's Burrito Bar on King St. in Bridgewater.

Things like this paper are the reasons my family picked a small town as our home. We were ready for community. We were also recovering media-types.

For the second February ever, The Barnacle is here with more hyperlocal Lunenburg County stories to keep you connected and entertained.

In the last twelve months, The Barnacle has published over 230 stories online and in print with the help of over 40 volunteer illustrators, writers and editors. As much as we know the numbers don’t matter for us to feel accomplished with our little operation, it is wild to put the whole year into perspective.
