Before you say anything, I want to let you know that you will not find a crossword on page 8 this month. Our two lovely cruciverbalists took a break this month after providing such incredible puzzles for volume 3 of the Barnacle. I wanted to get that off my chest, because I know so many of you covet the opportunity to sit down with a cuppa and the crossword.
I do encourage you to take a break from the madness of life to do the beautiful colouring page that Carmen designed. If you send us a photo of your completed page, you will be entered into a draw for a Barnacle prize pack!
What you will find in this issue is a ton of witchy, fall feelings. Our many columnists took the chance to pay homage to the spooky season and share some wisdom or awesome science facts.
I hope you welcome in this new season with grace, as we descend into darker nights. It won’t be long until the days start getting longer again (not that I’m counting).
