First out of the gates in Lunenburg County for the October 2024 municipal election is Ben Brooks, announcing his candidacy for District 9 in the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg.

**Ben Brooks Announces Candidacy for District 9 Council Position in the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg**

Riverport, NS – Monday, April 8 – Riverport resident and business owner, Ben Brooks, is officially announcing his candidacy for the District 9 council position within the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg (MODL). Brooks, committed to advocating for a district often overlooked, aims to bring significant change through responsive and informed local leadership. Brooks is honored to have the support and endorsement of Reid Whynot, who has faithfully served District 9 for the last two terms.
