Loki the Legendary Dog

Loki is a mutt of unknown pedigree from a farm in Southern Ontario, but definitely has some Blue Heeler and Collie in him. He has the dog version of muscular dystrophy, so he has always walked oddly and fallen alot, but he never, ever lets it get him down! This pluckiness is aided by the fact that he is built like a tank with the neck of a weightlifter on steroids and just rolls out of the worst of his tumbles utterly unscathed.

His favorite things to do are say hello to people, sit on their feet, get attention, roll in snow, bark at his cat brother Puck, see his dog friends and go for walks. Although partial to a good beach like Hirtles or Bachmans, Loki will lay down in any body of water, even if it is just a puddle, even if that puddle is in fact mud. You must always pack a towel when taking Loki for a walk.

Loki has also been a reluctant sailor since he was small, having voyaged the length of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie as well as from Toronto to PEI and Nova Scotia on a tall ship before he was a year old.  He loves Nova Scotia and the South Shore in particular. If you ever see Loki out and about, he always wants to say hi. Some of his nicknames are : Lou Lou, Baby Bear, Lokster, Loki Artichokie, Little boy — in any combination.
