Bella was a beloved Lunenburg dog who passed away in Feb 2025.
I love falling asleep listening to you two speak. In the back of the car or on the sofa watching TV. My favourite time of day is our morning cuddles. We can be soft and slow together after I get outside to pee. And all day long someone is beside me and when I want to be alone you’ve set me up with so many surfaces: The bed and all its corners, my favorite is across both your pillows. And under your bed is my bed, a small version where I can hide away if we have guests or it’s getting late. And when you’re both out, which is rare, I have the run of the house. That’s when a little worry sets in. But I can just relax now with only one thing to do. Wait for you. Because when you come home there’s always some excitement and something new. And at least once a day we take a drive and I sit in the back and look out the window. I get my own row of seats and sometimes some treats and we always end up somewhere neat. And if you two are together I get to hear you speak. I try not to shed, especially in your bed. But what can I say? I’m not hypoallergenic or gluten-free. Other than the softness of our mornings, I enjoy our afternoon walks, naps and post-dinner romps, and finally settling down for the night next to you.
