Open House at our Kelp Kurious Seaweed Nursery & Education Centre

The Ecology Action Centre’s Kelp Kurious team is excited to welcome our friends on the South Shore and beyond to join us at an Open House at our Kelp Kurious Seaweed Nursery & Education Centre on May 11. Come down and visit the team to learn about the kelp farming sector, our seedling nursery set-up, check out some creatures from our Nova Scotia waters in our touch tank and under the microscope, and taste some amazing kelp snacks made exclusively for us by Canada’s Smartest Kitchen! Seaweed art! Take some kelp grown on site home! Open to the public. Child Friendly. Accessible bathrooms on site. When: May 11th 10am – 4pm
