North of Nowhere: Song of a Truth and Reconciliation Commissioner

We are pleased to be part of a two-week book tour with Marie Wilson, author of North of Nowhere: Song of a Truth and Reconciliation Commissioner. June 2nd will mark the 10th anniversary of the release of the T&R report, and to date very little progress has been made towards completing the 94 Calls to Action. This is a great opportunity to learn more about how we as individuals, and as a community, can contribute towards reconciliation. The event will be held on Friday, May 16 at 7 pm at the St. James Anglican Church Parish Hall, 14 Parish Street, Mahone Bay. This venue is fully accessible. Event highlights include: Opening Ceremony by Peggy Wentzell, Mi’kmaw Elder Reading by the author, Marie Wilson followed by a moderated discussion Book sales and signing with LaHave River Books Light refreshments will be served
