SUMMARY:Sailor's Valentines Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Our first workshop of the year is just around the corner! Join us on Saturday\, February 8th\, for our Sailor’s Valentine workshop. Spaces are limited\, so be sure to reserve your spot by contacting Rose-Anne Smeltzer at Rose-Anne.Smeltzer@novascotia.ca.\n\nWhat is a Sailor’s Valentine?\n\nA sailor’s valentine is a handmade craft made with many small seashells arranged in beautiful patterns\, inside an octagonal wooden frame or box. These sentimental gifts were traditionally brought home by sailors after their voyages at sea to give to their loved ones as a token of affection!

SUMMARY:Lunenburg Theatre Collective Presents: Dead and Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:This production has multiple performance dates: July 18th\, July 20th\, July 22nd\, July 25th\, July 27th\, July 29th\, August 1st\, August 3rd\, and August 5th. “Dead and Breakfast is a fast paced comedy/mystery that takes place in a century old house connected to sailors\, possibly pirates and sea going tales. Amy\, a new playwright arrives at the Sandman Bed & Breakfast\, famous for all of the mysterious disappearances that have occurred in it’s 140 years. The builder’s portrait\, known as the Sandman still hangs ominously in the main room of the Inn. Amy is met by an affixable B&B host (Konrad with a K) who has managed to dodge the fate of his predecessors and they are joined by Pricilla Dunn\, an infamous theatrical reviewer there to review Amy’s play at the local theatre. From here the play takes off with twists and turns that will have the audiences laughing and guessing and sitting on the edge of their seats at every new scene.”
