Opening Reception: How We Wear Our Heritage

Join us at the Mahone Bay Museum at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, for the opening reception of “How We Wear Our Heritage: A Suttles and Seawinds” exhibit. The reception will include refreshments, Suttles and Seawinds paper dolls, a photo booth, and a sneak peek of the upcoming exhibit.

Come learn about the changing history of Mahone Bay through textiles. The exhibit is designed to mimic the dressing room of two women living in Mahone Bay who are inspired by the creations of Suttles and Seawinds. Explore the timeless appeal of Suttles and Seawinds through our interactive display. Admission to the museum is free, and everyone is welcome.
