Two-time Polaris Music Prize nominated songwriter Kelly McMichael, a genre-bending multi-instrumentalist based in St John’s, Newfoundland. Kelly’s second album, ‘After The Sting Of It’ (2024) is a lush progression into art rock and witchy pop sounds that can be heard on alternative radio nationally. McMichael’s independent debut album ‘Waves’ (2021) won the EMCA for ‘Best Rock Recording’. She has also performed across North America and Europe with The Burning Hell, Tim Baker and Sarah Harmer.
