They’ll be playing carol melodies new and old, as well as original and traditional tunes to kick off December in lively festive style! $20 Tickets in advance online or at @RoseBayBistro | $25 door with an opening Christmas musical by students of Old Confidence Creative Arts Adrianna Ciccone & Ellen Gibling are based in Kjipuktuk / Halifax, where they both make their home in the city’s north end. Individually, they are established traditional musicians, having taught and performed at camps and festivals across the country, studied with many renowned musicians, and recorded acclaimed solo albums. Since first meeting in 2020, they have collaborated frequently – as concert artists, market buskers, pub bandmates, event organizers, educators, and as part of the local community of traditional music. The Pear Tree is their first recording project together and they are delighted to have the chance to share this music with audiences across the province.
